Suggestion was to start at 5:00 AM. Kālikā Mata Temple is a Hindu goddess temple complex and pilgrim centre at the summit of Pavagadh Hill in Panchmahal District, India, with in the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park.

This world heritage site was home to the brave Solanki Kingdom. Despite the dizzying heat, I passed thousands of people climbing up the steep, winding 2,000 steps to the Kalika Mata temple at the summit for darshan. Some even make the journey on their knees. The figure increases to a 100,000 daily during festivals.
